The first training course supervised by Kyoshi MOCHIZUKI in Auch took place in a studious and warm atmosphere. It gathered 45 participants, among whom Christian Fortage and Jean-Pierre Pichereau, YWF high technicians - and Jimmy Lenormand, Champion of France 2008. Thanks to the good organization of Jeanine and Christian Fortage, the majority of the clubs of the region was represented, as well as several karatekas. Thanks to all for their contribution to the event.

The second training course of Yoseikan Budo of the season in Canada supervised by Master Mochizuki took place mainly in Trois-Rivières, at Marc Beaudry's invitation, but also at Montreal in that of Roger Roy, in an atmosphere always nice as show of it photoss.
After a victory in the national Sanda competition in 2006, the Taiwan Yoseikan Budo makes the headlines again in MMA
in a tournament held in Hsinchu (Taiwan) on May 24, 2008, with 3 fighters.
Daredevil Kevin Hsen, despite a good technical display, finally lost by submission, due to an impressive weight difference (52KG against 65KG).
Gael Dur, (former winner of the Sanda tournament) literally crushed his opponent in the 80KG class, winning with a sutemi followed by a choke in the second round.
Julio Moscoso, in 75KG, dominated his opponent (a former national judo champ and 6 times KFC winner) from end to end, but could only get a draw because the match could only be won by submission or KO. Julio, seen on this photo, even granted himself the luxury of a clean spinning kick to the face in this fight…
Our three fighters, with a surprising technical display, were definitely the stars of the night and of the enthusiastic public.

As every year, Master Hiroo Mochizuki visited Bernard Peteuil and Daniel Delaye, the two faithful club instructors, for a stage that started with a children class – seen here extremely motivated despite the early hour for a Sunday. The afternoon was mainly dedicated to a preparation to rank testing.
This premiere in Corsica on the theme weapons and adventure under Mitchi and Kyoshi Mochizuki was a great success, as the pictures show. This combination of indoor training and outdoor training on beaches and in a pine forest, coupled to a ballad in Ajaccio, picnics and mountain treks, gathered all the elements to create unforgettable memories for all the participants. It was also a unique experience for Arthur Pack, son of USYBA technical director Glenn Pack.
There’s the foto-gallery of our journey to Japan with Hiroo Mochizuki, Mitchi Mochizuki and the president of the YWF Martin Kurth.
Thanks to all our Japanese budo-friends!

Such a rate of participation is completely new. Approximately four hundred candidates coming from all Italian regions challenged each others in the main annual event of the Italian sporting calendar: the national championship of Yoseikan Budo. The weekend tournament’s venue was the splendid municipal Sports hall < Vela > of Trento.
The competitions related to all categories of weight and age, from juniors to seniors into individuals, as well
as team competition. Thanks to the remarkable organization by the Trento Yoseikan Budo Union the whole event was held in a healthy and serene environment, in the presence of the president of the Italian Academy of Yoseikan Budo, Mr. Valentino Straser, of the national technical Director Mr. Roman Patuzzi, of the Italian team national trainer Mr. Fabrizzio Tabella and with the multi-champions William Nicolo and Davide Morini.
During the course the first day of competitions, after a long confrontation by athletes of High Tessin, many titles were conquered by the clubs of Milano, Mantova, Trento, Roma and Aprilia.
In the Junior categories emerged promising talents who displayed good technical level and fair play. The seniors categories were characterized by the domination of the leaders in the various categories. The performance of Sicilian and Emilian athletes was also very remarkable, and was proven with by good classifications. The competition made it possible for the selector of the Italian national team to choose the athletes who will constitute the blue team at the next triangular meet with Switzerland and France.
Sunday, 11AM to 2PM - a « full blown » tournament
Smiles, demonstrations of joy, but also strong emotions and fair play marked the second day of competitions of this national championship.
The young Yoseikan Budokas took at heart to give a right image of what is regarded as an emerging sport among international sports activities. With their enthusiasm and their natural way to enjoy this discipline, they offered the public many emotions and a high quality technical display.
For the anecdote, it was noted that along the years, the traditional rivalry between the young people of Lazio and those of High Tessin remains very obvious, and inevitably shows off during competitions.
