
Hiroo Mochizuki arrives from Japan in order to teach karate-do and Aikido in Europe.
He settles in Paris, France to teach martial arts.
He becomes the first technical adviser of the French Karate and Aikido Federation. He later becomes the first technical adviser of the European Karate Union. At the same time, through their variety, he discovers the link that binds all the martial arts : energy transferred by undulation. He starts creating his own method, which he names Yoseikan Budo.
Creation in France of the CIYB (International Centre of Yoseikan Budo), the first international organization to include France, Italy, Switzerland, and Belgium.
The head office of the CIYB is transferred to Switzerland and becomes the "FIYBDA" (International Federation of Yoseikan Budo and related sports).
Creation of the YWF (Yoseikan World Federation) whose head office is in Switzerland.
